Cécile, amateur painter, I have always been passionate about drawing and the fantastic world, I started painting “late” (at 25).

​

I was largely influenced by what I read and saw during my childhood, from the universe of Thorgal (comics by Jean Van Hamme) to that of Adèle Blanc-Sec (comics by Tardi); from the classic Merlin the Magician (by Disney), through The King and the Bird (by Paul Grimault) or Spirited Away (by Miyazaki); and of course The Lord of the Rings (by Peter Jackson), a major work, which I had the chance to see on the big screen, which forever marked my world and sparked my interest in figurine sculpture and painting .

I painted my very first figurine ( Zombicide ) in April 2018, then only a few figurines until 2021, the year I got my first 3D printer.

I have been painting daily since April 2022.

Pushed by those around me, I decided to share my work in July 2021.
