Alberto The Contest, a superb adventure from which I draw a lot of teaching, motivation and inspiration.

“King Alberto-Koko” : This project was a real challenge, inspired by my pets Meïko (Alberto) and Quiche (the fish).


I would like to sincerely congratulate each participant and winner.

Each entry was unique and awesome.

I could never have hoped for so much recognition, it’s priceless! 🙇


I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supports my painting project in general, whether on the networks (each like/comment/message) or on a daily basis. This matters a lot.



Investment

Overall execution time: 2 months (start of August to mid-October 2023):


  • Around 50 hours of printing in total (so 21 hours just for the guards).

  • Approximately 150 hours of painting.

  • 80 ml of resin.

  • A box of Milliput

  • 200mL of “realistic water” resin (to make water)

To summarize the investment made in this figurine: I "ate competition", "sleep competition", ... for 2 months, non-stop. And it was a real pleasure!

Some photos of the "King Alberto-Koko" project , from its imagination/creation, to its finality.


Quiche (the fish), was not planned during creation.

He died (at the honorable age of 20) during the production of the play.

So I decided to add it to the diorama (see photo n°8), as a sort of "tribute".


Thanks to the tutorials from Jero Miniatures which were very useful to me for the design of the base.
